Bingo Clasic, dupa 500 de ani, in Romania

Unificarea Italiei in 1530 a adus cu sine si infiintarea loteriei, „Lo Giuoco del Lotto Dìtalia“, care are la baza jocul de bingo.

De aproape cinci secole, in Italia au loc jocuri de bingo saptamanal cu foarte mici intreruperi, fiind una dintre principalele surse de venit ale bugetului national. La sfarsitul anului 1770 Bingo a ajuns si in Franta si a fost denumit ”Le Lotto”. Chiar daca avea adepti in randul tuturor paturilor sociale, el era jucat, in special, de francezii bogati, de unde si denumirea de ”jocul aristocratiei franceze”.

Din Franta, jocul a trecut in Germania, unde, in jurul anului 1800, era utilizat pentru… a invata copii matematica, istorie si ortografie. Chiar si astazi pe piata jucariilor jocul de bingo este puternic reprezentat; Milton Bradley vinde un joc de bingo cu figurinele din strada Sesame. Jocul de bingo a fost folosit pentru a invata copii intre 3 si 6 ani numaratul si recunoasterea cifrelor in cadrul unui joc.

Anul 1929 a reprezentat pentru joc traversarea Oceanului, mai exact in Atlanta, unde e practicat sub numele de ”Beono”. Un producator de jucarii din New York pe nume Edwin S. Lowe l-a botezat ”Bingo” dupa ce a observat cum cineva a strigat din greseala ”Bingo ” in loc de ”Beano”. Lowe a prevazut succesul jocului si si-a fondat o firma ce a avut un succes imediat. Bingo putea deveni o marca protejata dar Lowe a luat decizia sa ceara 1 dolar pe an de la concurenta pentru utilizarea numelui de ”Bingo”.

Un preot dintr-o biserica din Pennsylvania a luat legatura cu Lowe pentru ca biserica lui avea probleme financiare in urma faptului ca a utilizat acest joc pentru a aduna fonduri de biserica. Au aparut si ceva probleme pentru ca fiecare joc de bingo avea o jumatate de duzina sau chiar mai multi castigatori. Lowe a angajat imediat un matematician, pe nume Carl Leffler, care-l ajuta sa creeze tichete de bingo cu o ordine de cifre ce nu se repeta. Bingo a devenit astfel foarte popular si pe Batranul Continent, pentru ca oamenii il foloseau pentru adunarea de fonduri bisericesti.

In Romania, jocul a devenit cunoscut cu adevarat doar dupa 1990. In prima parte a anilor 90 aproape fiecare oras avea mai multe sali in care se putea juca bingo. Perceput, initial, doar ca o solutie de castig rapid, Bingo a cunoscut un declin la inceputul anilor 2000. A fost relansat insa in toamna lui 2009 de catre Super Bingo Metropolis. Succesul a fost instantaneu: milioane de jucatori, peste 200.000 de castigatori in doar jumatate de an, dintre care trei au devenit milionari in euro si alti peste 300 de participanti care au castigat cel putin cate 100.000 de lei (un miliard de lei vechi).

Acum, Super Bingo Metropolis lanseaza o noua varianta de joc, Bingo Clasic, fara taloane gratuite si necastigatoare, dar cu sanse mult mai mari de a castiga Marele Premiu. Un joc cu multa adrenalina, dar si cu sanse de castig pe masura.
